Disposal times:
Surveys and collections are made once a year. Applications for radioactive waste disposal should be made on the laboratory use and management system. Once all applications have been accounted for, emails are sent to applicants notifying them of waste collection times.
Payment:
Total costs include fees for collection and disposal. The cost of each round of waste disposal is split evenly among laboratories that have applied for this service and is calculated according to the type and weight of waste being disposed of by each laboratory.
